The Buffalo Bills agreed to terms with free agent defensive player Michael Hoecht on a three-year contract worth up to $21 million. A 2020 undrafted free agent out of Brown, Hoecht is an Ontario native with a unique path. He joined the Rams as a 310-pound defensive tackle that has since trimmed down to around 270 pounds and played all over the defensive front for Los Angeles.
His projection to Buffalo’s defense brings about numerous possibilities, and I’m curious to see how incorporating his skill set impacts the alignments and schemes the Bills deploy.
