The Buffalo Bills signed free agent WR Elijah Moore to a one-year contract worth up to $5 million. The No. 34 overall pick in 2020, Moore spent his first two seasons with the New York Jets before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in the offseason prior to 2023.

Moore has played in 61 NFL games with 40 starts, collecting 200 receptions for 2,162 yards and nine touchdowns. He was targeted over 100 times in each of the last two seasons with the Browns and is coming off a career-high 61 catches in 2024.

Moore turned 25 in March, and his career production has not met expectations, but erratic quarterback play throughout his first four seasons is a notable contributing factor. According to the Fantasy Points Data Suite, only 71.4 percent of his targets in 2024 were catchable, the fifth-worst rate in the NFL among receivers with at least 75 targets.

What does Moore’s tape reveal about his skill set? How can he help the Bills' offense? What concerns are there? The answers are always in the tape. Let’s dive in!
