Tale of the Tape: Dorian Strong
Film analysis of the Buffalo Bills' 2025 sixth-round draft selection.
The Buffalo Bills invested a sixth-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft on Dorian Strong, a cornerback from Virginia Tech. A Maryland native, Strong spent all five seasons of his college career with the Hokies.
Strong measures at 6 feet 1 and 185 pounds with a wingspan of 76 ⅛” and 9 ⅜” hands. He ran a 4.50 in the 40-yard dash and has a Relative Athleticism Score of 8.33 out of 10.
Strong appeared in 53 games in college while logging 44 starts. He collected 35 pass breakups, seven interceptions, and a forced fumble.
What does Strong's college film reveal about his skill set? How can he help the Bills' defense? What concerns are there? The answers are always in the tape.
As the Bills draft players, I intend to provide film breakdowns here in the Herd Mentality Substack that detail each player's skill set. Without further ado, let’s dive into the tape!
