There’s so much to be excited about concerning the Buffalo Bills' rushing offense in 2025, which is coming off a 2024 season that saw the team rank No. 2 in the NFL in EPA per run and lead the league with 32 rushing touchdowns. With the entire offensive coaching staff returning, in addition to the top-9 offensive linemen, every running back, and an upgrade in tight end blocking with the drafting of Jackson Hawes, the Bills' rushing attack is primed to be even better in 2025.
But the headlines concerning the Bills' rushing offense this offseason have been centered around James Cook’s public negotiating tactics in pursuit of a new contract and quotes from Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott after continuously being asked for updates on the situation during their media availability.
What’s also worthy of our attention is second-year running back Ray Davis, a 2024 fourth-round pick out of Kentucky who finished third in the NFL in rushing yards among rookies despite being the eighth back drafted.
