Examining the biggest storylines coming out of the Buffalo Bills Week Five loss to the Houston Texans.
The last eight quarters of Buffalo Bills football have been poor. After getting bounced by the Baltimore Ravens in Week Four, Buffalo fell 23-20 to the Houston Texans in Week Five. The Bills trailed by three scores in the third quarter, came back and tied the game before terrible end-of-game management by Sean McDermott cost the Bills a chance to complete the comeback.
A Bills win would have only masked massive concerns that have come to life over the last two games, particularly with the offense. Given all the transition, it was always reasonable to expect some growing pains for the offense, but after showing a strong blueprint for what the unit was capable of being in the first three weeks of the season, it has fallen off the rails.
